Engagement and participation
Just because a public issue affects someone, it doesn’t mean that they will necessarily engage with agencies or fellow-residents to work on it. Our expertise in engagement and participation is based on profound understanding of the motivations that influence involvement, and long experience of a variety of circumstances affecting community development, including low income neighbourhoods, underperforming social landlords, a history of spurious consultation and so on.
Being independent, with no local baggage and clearly expressed values and principles, we are often able to establish a ‘win-win’ situation for interest groups and public services together because we are more easily able to establish trust with all parties.
