Events

Local Level specialises in designing and organising events that bring together diverse interests and backgrounds. We like to work closely with other partners to ensure that each event can be maximised in terms of lessons articulated, as a shared experience, and as an opportunity for connections to be made or re-enforced.

We've built up a lot of experience over the past 25 years, organising numerous conferences and seminars, bringing together local residents with practitioners, policy makers and academics. Events have been devised on a local, national or international scale; various kinds of workshop and interactive sessions; games and visits. Please contact us to discuss your needs.


Forthcoming presentations

 

Kevin Harris will be speaking at the following events in July:

 

a meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Ageing at the House of Commons in London, 14 July 2008;

 

a seminar for the Young Foundation's Neighbourhood Action Network on 17 July 2008.

 

 

We are planning a national conference on the Local Living Library project, during which we ran sessions in partnership with four public library authorities in England. The likely date is 4 November 2008, in London. Further details will be provided on this page as they become available.
